White Cliffs Symphonic Winds
As the name implies, we are a symphonic wind band that likes to play challenging music from the contemporary repertoire whilst also performing the more traditional and entertaining items that our audiences enjoy so much. The band was formed in 2004 as part of a community link when St. Edmund’s Catholic School, Dover became a Performing Arts Specialist school. The band is made up of over 60 ex-professional and com- petent players, and has been a tremendous training ground for students in East Kent, UK, to gain experience alongside more able players. Since its inception in 2004, the band has raised several thousands of Pounds for local, national and international charities. Click HERE to see dates for our 2023 concerts.
